Job description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Structural/Civil Engineer (PE) to join a premier engineering team supporting projects at NASA Johnson Space Center. This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly skilled engineer with experience in structural analysis, facility modifications, and building design. Responsibilities
  • Design and analyze structural systems for existing facilities and building modifications.
  • Perform structural calculations and analyses using industry-standard engineering principles.
  • Prepare engineering reports, structural assessments, and safety documentation.
  • Develop structural layouts, detailed drawings, and installation plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions while meeting project deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience.
  • Experience with building modifications and structural design.
  • Working knowledge of design standards such as AISC, ACI, and AWS D1.1.
  • Proficiency with RISA-3D, ENERCALC, AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and MathCAD.
