Are you ready to play a crucial role in our production process? We're seeking a dedicated Accounting Generalist II to join our dynamic team. The Accounting Generalist II is a multifaceted support role handling daily operations across Accounts Receivable (AR), billing, credit, collections, and Accounts Payable (AP). This position requires a highly motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can accurately multitask.

WHAT DOES MY WORKDAY LOOK LIKE IN THIS ROLE?
  • Accounts Receivable & Billing (Primary): Generate and distribute customer invoices/credits, process cash applications and electronic/credit card payments, and manage customer sales tax certificates.
  • Credit & Collections Support (Primary): Conduct collection calls for past-due accounts, process credit applications for new/existing accounts (checking references and credit sites), and reconcile unapplied cash/credits.
  • General Accounting: Update daily banking files, support monthly reconciliations, enter labor costing sheets, compile financial reports (sales, past dues, spend recaps), and back up sales tax filings.
  • Accounts Payable & Admin Support: Assist with AP purchase order (PO) invoice keying, back up payment runs, provide mailroom support, and handle ad hoc projects.

  • Traits: High attention to detail, strong accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced workflow environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Office Suite is preferred.
  • Systems Experience: Prior experience with the IBM iSeries platform (AS400) or RPG-based ERP systems is highly preferred
