Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION:Medical group in eastern North Carolina is seeking a BE/BC Non-Invasive Cardiologist comfortable in all areas of general Cardiology settings to be part of our established practice. Candidates must be ABIM Cardiovascular board certified and able to do TEE and read nuclear and echo cardiograms. This position has a financial package with significant income potential, including a substantial four-year base salary to be followed by a competitive production model pay plan and partnership. Our fringe benefit program offers a generous profit-sharing plan, 401k with match, a comprehensive medical, dental, life and a disability package, and malpractice insurance. HOSPITAL:Our private practice is multi-specialty, located in Eastern, NC, with 12 offices located in and around the area. We offer pulmonary CC, rheumatology, emergency medicine, dermatology, oncology, family medicine, endocrinology, infectious disease, internal medicine, cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, gastroenterology and surgery. Our 100 providers and over 620 employees provide services for thousands of patients in a 29 county region. Some of our doctors are on staff at a 900 + bed level one trauma center and the primary teaching hospital for the local School of Medicine. COMMUNITY: This community is a lovely college town located only 1 hour from Raleigh. The music and performing arts in the area are very strong and every year there are numerous high quality musical and theatrical productions involving both its faculty and distinguished visiting performers. We are not far from North Carolina beaches, with large rivers and estuaries also nearby that are ideal for all types of boating and water sports.
