Overview
Seeking Seasonal Music Assistants to join our Divisional Headquarters Team
Our Seasonal opportunities offer Sick time
This position will assist the Music Department in operating the Divisional Music and Arts Conservatory, Divisional Music and Arts Camp and Corps Music Week Program
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Music and Arts Conservatory and Music, Arts and Jr. Soldier Camp
  • Assist with setting up and preparing for music ministries at Long Point Camp
  • Conduct and/or assist in devotions
  • Participate/lead in chorus as assigned by
  • Participate/lead elective classes
  • Meet each day with member of Music and Arts Department
  • Assist in other duties assigned by the Divisional Music Director and/or Assistant Divisional Music Director.

Corps Summer Music Week
  • Organize a 5-day music program at their local corps in conjunction with Corps Officer and/or Local Officer
  • Identify a minimum of 6 students to participate in the week
  • Work with the Divisional Music Department to identify proper curriculum and music
  • Make all copies of materials needed for classes
  • Identify potential volunteers with the help of Corps Officers and/or Local Officer
  • Plan a daily schedule
  • Set up a performance schedule for students involved
  • Meet daily (virtually) with member of the Music Department

Qualifications
SPECIAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  • Proficient in performing and teaching a music discipline
  • Uniformed Salvationist
  • Age 15 - 21
