Job description

The Multinational Insurance Coordinator supports the end-to-end execution of multinational insurance placements across all lines of business. This role works closely with underwriting, legal, finance and global network partners to coordinate policy issuance, gather and validate placement requirements, and ensure accurate and timely delivery of local policies. Responsibilities include analyzing account structures, reviewing coverage specifications, tracking global program deliverables, resolving operational issues, and maintaining data accuracy within internal systems. The coordinator also assists in process optimization, documentation, and reporting to enhance operational efficiency and support consistent service delivery for underwriters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on geographical nuances and regulations impacting their risk decisions.
  • Competency to build technical industry knowledge, establish an understanding of the international marketplace.
  • Communicate with international network on service of global programs. Maintain ownership of communication flow between network and underwriters.
  • Maintain, execute and resolve open items lists on a variety of projects for the Global Placement Team.
  • Proactive, independent work ethic with strong time management, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to multitask and work under limited supervision.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation is maintained.

Compensation:

The below annualized base pay range is a broad range based on analysis of similar positions in the market. The actual base pay for the position may be above or below he listed range and determined by a number of considerations, including but now limited to complexity, location, and scope of the role, along with experience, skills, education, training, and other conditions of employment. Base salary represents one compensation of Allied World comprehensive total reward package, which may also include annual incentive compensation rewards.

The base salary range for the position is $65,000 - 75,000

Skills and experience:

         3-5 years of experience in the insurance industry.

         Understanding of multinational insurance programs and how local policies are placed and managed preferred. 

         Excellent organizational skills to ensure time frames are met for clients and all processing and documentation are completed.

         Ability to confidently work autonomously and interact with many stakeholders.

         Strong, demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills, strong written & verbal communication.
