Job description

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for legal professionals experienced in legal research, legal writing, contract drafting, contract review, litigation, dispute resolution, and structured legal workflow evaluation.

This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on legal research review, contract analysis, litigation workflow assessment, legal writing evaluation, dispute-related materials, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will apply their legal expertise to review realistic legal scenarios, evaluate legal outputs, prepare structured written feedback, and support accurate, evidence-based legal workflow tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Professionals in this role may contribute to:

Legal Research & Writing Review

  • Review legal materials involving case analysis, legal research, issue spotting, memo drafting, and written legal reasoning
  • Evaluate legal outputs against source materials, applicable legal standards, argument structure, and documented review criteria
  • Support structured review of legal memos, research summaries, case notes, issue lists, and advisory-style legal explanations
  • Identify missing issues, weak reasoning, unclear analysis, and expected legal review outcomes

Contract Drafting & Review Support

  • Review scenarios involving contract drafting, contract review, clause interpretation, redlines, negotiation points, and commercial legal workflows
  • Evaluate contract-related outputs for accuracy, completeness, clarity, and alignment with documented deal or policy context
  • Support structured review of agreements, contract summaries, clause analyses, playbook comparisons, and drafting notes
  • Prepare clear written feedback based on source materials and verifiable criteria

Litigation, Dispute Resolution & Structured Feedback

  • Review legal scenarios involving litigation, dispute resolution, procedural issues, pleadings, discovery materials, and case strategy
  • Evaluate outputs for legal coherence, factual grounding, procedural accuracy, and professional writing quality
  • Provide structured feedback on legal accuracy, reasoning quality, issue coverage, and communication clarity
  • Maintain accuracy, consistency, and professional judgment across submitted work

Ideal Profile

Strong candidates may have:

  • Professional experience in legal research, legal writing, contract drafting, contract review, litigation, dispute resolution, corporate law, compliance, or advisory legal work
  • Background in one or more areas such as contracts, commercial law, litigation, regulatory law, employment law, corporate law, dispute resolution, or general legal analysis
  • Familiarity with legal workflows involving research memos, contracts, pleadings, issue analysis, client communications, discovery materials, and structured legal review
  • Comfort reading and preparing legal artifacts such as memos, briefs, contracts, policies, case summaries, research notes, and clause analyses
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment

Educational Background

  • Juris Doctor degree or equivalent legal qualification is strongly preferred
  • Active bar admission or professional legal practice experience is highly relevant
  • Equivalent practical experience in legal analysis, legal writing, contract review, litigation support, compliance review, or legal operations may also be valuable depending on project scope

Nice to Have

  • Experience at a law firm, in-house legal department, government legal office, legal services organization, compliance team, or legal research environment
  • Familiarity with legal research platforms, contract review workflows, litigation documentation, dispute resolution processes, legal drafting, or benchmark-style legal evaluation
  • Experience preparing or reviewing legal memos, briefs, contracts, policies, case summaries, research notes, or structured legal feedback
  • Strong ability to evaluate legal writing for reasoning quality, completeness, professional tone, and source-grounded accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail in writing-heavy, analysis-heavy, and documentation-based legal environments
