Position Description
ThinkTek is seeking a Graphic and Multimedia Designer to support a Department of War client and an integrated air and missile defense program focused on protecting the U.S. homeland from aerial threats.
The successful candidate will provide graphic design, video production, and creative communications support to develop high-quality visual products for internal and external audiences. This role will transform complex technical, operational, and defense-related information into clear, compelling graphics, multimedia content, data visualizations, presentations, and other communication products in support of program messaging objectives.
Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality graphics, layouts, illustrations, presentations, and other visual communications products supporting program and leadership messaging.
  • Design custom graphics and data visualizations that clearly communicate complex defense architectures, strategies, and technical concepts.
  • Produce and edit multimedia content, including videos, animations, motion graphics, imagery, and other digital communication products.
  • Support visual branding and consistent messaging across internal and external communication channels.
  • Create executive-level presentations, briefing materials, infographics, and other products for senior government stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with program staff, leadership, and subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear and engaging visual content.
  • Manage creative products from concept through final delivery while ensuring quality, accuracy, consistency, and adherence to program requirements.
  • Utilize modern graphic design, multimedia, and visualization tools to enhance communication and audience engagement.
  • Support digital, print, web, social media, training, and event-related creative products as needed.
  • Support additional creative and communications requirements as needed.

Required
  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Multimedia, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, multimedia production, visual communications, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with brand identity, logo and marketing collateral design, print and digital design, layout and publication design, typography, infographics, and presentation design.
  • Demonstrated experience with video production and editing, motion graphics, storyboarding, animation, audio editing, color correction, and multimedia content development.
  • Experience developing visual storytelling, interactive media, photography, training media, event media, and other digital communication products.
  • Experience creating web graphics, UI/UX designs, social media assets, email marketing graphics, landing page content, and other digital campaign materials.
  • Experience translating complex technical or operational information into clear, visually engaging communications and data visualizations.
  • Experience supporting federal government or Department of Defense customers preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
  • Experience developing executive-level presentations and briefing materials.
  • Strong understanding of visual branding, layout design, typography, and data visualization.
  • Ability to manage multiple creative projects and priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and subject matter experts.

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $95,030 - $114,020. This range is a good-faith estimate and not a guarantee of compensation. Final compensation will be based on factors including experience, education, skills, geographic location, internal equity, market data, and applicable contract requirements, and may fall outside the posted range.
