Job description

About the Role

We're looking for a post-production powerhouse to join our Marketing Team in Columbia, MD. While our field team captures the action on-site, you will be the creative engine that turns raw footage into compelling stories. You'll own the edit from ingest to delivery, polish visuals and sound to a professional sheen, and keep our massive library of assets organized and accessible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Master the Edit:Own the post-production workflow for product videos, case studies, safety training, and internal updates. We need someone who can take a folder of raw clips and craft a high-impact narrative.

  • Post-Production Specialist:Go beyond basic cutting. You'll handle color grading, sound design/mixing, and motion graphics (lower thirds, animated infographics, and titles) that elevate our brand.

  • Media management:Take the lead on managing our Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform. You'll ensure our photos and videos are tagged, organized, and easily searchable for the whole company.

  • Creative Collaboration:Work in close partnership with team members to synchronize creative visions, ensuring a seamless transition from field capture to final delivery and maintaining high-level consistency across all projects.

  • Web & Digital Support:Keep our digital presence fresh by updating website content and ensuring all video assets are optimized for web and social performance.

  • Occasional Capture:While your primary home is the edit suite, you'll occasionally head to the field or office to support photo/video shoots when extra hands or specific technical eyes are needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience:5+ years of professional experience in high-end video editing and post-production.

  • Technical Wizardry:Expert-level proficiency inAdobe Creative Cloud(Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.).

  • Narrative Excellence:A portfolio demonstrating a strong grasp of pacing, narrative structure, and visual continuity.

  • Organizational Leadership:Proven ability to manage large-scale media libraries and implement collaborative workflows for creative teams.

  • Collaboration:Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to both provide and receive constructive feedback, and work seamlessly with field-based producers.
