Responsible for developing innovative and visually appealing color palettes that align with seasonal trends, brand identity, and consumer preferences. Collaborate with product designers, merchants, and cross-functional teams to create functional, high-quality footwear, translating market insights, trend research, and brand vision into compelling color and surface choices. Design footwear collections based on seasonal concepts and line planning.

Own tech pack creation and updates, prepare presentations, and conduct seasonal research for designs. Create digital renderings, technical drawings, and detailed specifications using industry-standard design programs (Photoshop and Illustrator). Work with the innovation team to incorporate new concepts into seasonal themes, while ensuring consistency in design language and product direction.

Mentor design assistants and communicate complex technical topics across various levels of the organization. Research and apply new materials, manufacturing technologies, and design methodologies. Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day/week.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. qualifications Must have 2 years of Footwear Design experience

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in all of the following (which may be gained concurrently): Fashion and athletic footwear design; Creating technical footwear drawings, including the use and application of color theory principles; Adobe Illustrator & In-Design; and Adobe Photoshop. Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in all of the following (which may be gained concurrently): Creating and presenting seasonal color stories and designs that are in line with both seasonal creative direction and with consumer relevance; Employing fashion design and construction techniques for the full lifecycle of product design and development, including outsole construction, last making, materials, and color; Forecasting trends to predict future color directions based on industry movements and cultural influences; and Translating brand identity and brand guidelines into creative color design concepts. Of the required experience must have 1 year of experience in all of the following (which may be gained concurrently): Applying color and finishes to Upper Materials, including Textiles (Warp Knits, Flat Knits, and Wovens), Synthetics, and Naturals and Plastic Films; and Applying color and finishes to Midsole Foams and Outsole Rubbers.
