Job Summary
• Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff. Obtains information on patient condition as requested by the nursing staff, and reports any changes in patient condition. Ability to react quickly in emergent situations. Has a basic working knowledge of all unit functions and is responsible for performing clerical duties and maintaining and organizing all necessary equipment and supplies. Duties may include scheduling appointments, compiling and copying medical charts, reports, and other duties as assigned.

◦ Preferred: Previous experience as EMT, PCA, or completion of ‘fundamentals of nursing’ for nursing students
