What You'll Do

As a General Manager, you'll be responsible for leading all aspects of your restaurant while creating an environment where both guests and team members thrive.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading the overall operation and performance of your restaurant

  • Hiring, training, coaching, and developing a high-performing team

  • Creating a positive, engaging workplace culture built on teamwork, accountability, and respect

  • Delivering an exceptional guest experience and ensuring every customer receives a "Sub Above" experience

  • Driving sales growth while managing labor, food costs, and overall profitability

  • Ensuring consistent execution of Jersey Mike's standards for food quality, cleanliness, and customer service

  • Managing inventory, ordering, and cost controls to support restaurant performance

  • Maintaining compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company operating standards

  • Developing future leaders by coaching Crew Members, Shift Leaders, and Assistant Managers

  • Building strong relationships within the local community while representing the Jersey Mike's brand

  • Analyzing restaurant performance and implementing action plans to achieve operational goals

  • Partnering with your Regional Manager to continuously improve results and develop your team

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
