Job Summary:

The Construction Project Manager's primary responsibility is to support the design review, execution, and coordination of the multi-family residential/ mixed use construction projects by location. Function as liaison with other internal departments. The position is highly matrix and requires the ability to engage at all levels in real estate development, construction, and property management.

Duties of the Role:

  • Review drawings at each step of the construction process for execution per the specification of the commercial development client.
  • Review change orders relating to the physical space as needed.
  • Assist in the coordination of tenant contractors with base building contractors.
  • Maintain positive relationships with base-building constituents.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education, Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Engineering, Construction, or a similar field degree
  • 10+ years of experience with an understanding of real estate investment, development, property management, multi-family residential mixed use construction management, and engineering, preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with careful diligence and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated presence and confidence, able to interact with the senior management team as well as current and potential clients.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and oversight.
  • Exceptional technical skills and working knowledge of MS Office, Bluebeam and or PlanGrid and Microsoft Project Software
  • Travel will be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, consultants, government authorities, contractors, and operators.
  • Building Liaison - Function as an effective liaison between tenants, engineers, and General Manager by communicating proper information and ensuring tenant requests are responded to in a timely and professional manner.
  • All other duties as assigned.
