The role will be based in New York, NY with the expectation of a hybrid work model.
The PineBridge Global Multi-Asset Team is seeking a Client Portfolio Manager at the Vice President or Senior Vice President level to play a crucial role supporting portfolio strategy, asset allocation insights, and global client engagement. This individual will work closely with portfolio managers and senior investment leadership to represent the team's market views, portfolio positioning, and performance across a global institutional client base.
The role combines deep investment knowledge with strong client and commercial orientation. The successful candidate will act as a conduit between the Global Multi-Asset investment team and external and internal partners, including Business Development, Marketing, Product, Client Reporting, and Operations, ensuring PineBridge's investment philosophy and outcomes are communicated with clarity, consistency, and credibility.
Primary Responsibilities:
Investment Strategy & Portfolio Representation
  • Serve as a senior member of the team, with a deep understanding of the investment process, asset allocation framework, market outlook, portfolio construction, and positioning
  • Partner closely with team members to help shape, articulate, and communicate investment views, forward-looking themes, and portfolio rationale
  • Participate meaningfully in portfolio strategy discussions and contribute to internal debate around macro views, asset allocation, and risk positioning
  • Conduct and supervise peer, competitor, and industry analysis to inform portfolio positioning and client discussions

Client Engagement & Business Development Support
  • Act as an investment resource for Business Development, relationship managers, and institutional clients
  • Lead or support client meetings, due diligence sessions, and prospect discussions by clearly explaining portfolio strategy, performance drivers, and market positioning
  • Respond to sophisticated client, consultant, and prospect inquiries with thoughtful, well-structured analysis and investment insight
  • Help drive and manage the pipeline of existing clients and prospective opportunities in partnership with Business Development

Marketing, Thought Leadership & Communications
  • Provide senior oversight and content leadership across all client-facing and marketing materials, including:
  • Pitch books and customized client presentations
  • RFPs, DDQs, and consultant requests
  • Monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc portfolio and market commentaries
  • Intellectual capital and thought leadership publications
  • Review and approve key client reporting results to ensure accuracy, consistency, investment integrity, and alignment with firm messaging and brand standards
  • Partner with Marketing and Product teams to evolve messaging and positioning as market conditions and strategy evolve

Cross-Functional Leadership & Coordination
  • Serve as a key liaison between the investment team and internal partners across Client Reporting, Performance, Operations, Product, Marketing, and Business Development
  • Ensure portfolio data, performance attribution, and risk information are accurately and effectively communicated to clients
  • Promote efficient procedures at high standards across all client-related matters
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members involved in client service, analytics, and presentation materials

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience, with demonstrated progression in responsibility and impact. Experience may include portfolio management, investment research, asset allocation strategy, investment counseling, or institutional client service
  • Demonstrated success in communicating complex investment concepts to senior institutional audiences, consultants, and internal partners
  • Strong analytical foundation with the ability to synthesize market, portfolio, and performance information into clear investment narratives
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to manage a wide range of sophisticated responsibilities under strict timelines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, with the ability to supervise and refine institutional-quality materials
  • Highly collaborative, self-motivated teammate with strong judgment, ownership mentality, and leadership presence

Salary Range: $175,000-250,000 annually + bonus + benefits
