Yard Assistant $20-$23 per hour

Are you a self motivated hard worker?

The Yard Assistant is an integral member of our mulch service team, serving as a contact for mulch and propane customers. This is an entry level role and we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Assist all customers with propane sales including helping to load and unload tanks from cars
  • Properly handle all sales transactions of mulch and propane sales for drive in customers according to company policy
  • Reconciling sales at the end of every day with the appropriate administrative assistant
  • Ability to use or learn to use basic computer software
  • Keep both yards clean. This includes but is not limited to garbage, garbage cans, leaves and debris, vehicles that are blocking the right of way etc.
  • Assist Mechanics
  • Learn to safely operate basic construction equipment including but not limited to front end loaders and grinders
  • Load customers with mulch
  • Assist in grinding wood when not doing propane or other tasks according to priority assigned by manager
  • Wash Trucks

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age to operate propane
  • Customer oriented and good communication skills
  • A willingness to learn
  • Reliable and responsible
  • Valid Driver's License required
