Afternoon Mulch Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Residential Landscape is looking for a Landscape Installation Technician to join our field crew. This is a hands-on position for someone who likes seeing a project take shape from an empty or outdated yard to a finished outdoor space the homeowner can actually enjoy.

You won't be standing in one place doing the same task every day. Depending on the project, you could be planting trees in the morning, setting edging and rock in the afternoon, or helping install irrigation and pavers the following day.

What You'll Be Doing

• Install trees, shrubs, plants, sod, mulch, decorative rock, edging, and other landscape materials.
• Help prepare job sites by removing existing materials, grading soil, and preparing planting areas.
• Assist with patios, walkways, retaining walls, pavers, and other hardscape installations.
• Install and repair irrigation lines, sprinkler components, and drainage systems under the direction of experienced crew members.
• Move soil, gravel, stone, plants, and construction materials around the job site.
• Use hand tools, power equipment, compactors, saws, and other landscape equipment safely.
• Follow landscape plans and crew-leader instructions to make sure installations are completed in the correct locations.
• Keep job sites clean and organized throughout the project not just at the end.
• Identify installation problems or unexpected site conditions and bring them to the foreman's attention.
• Help with final cleanup and finishing work before a completed property is turned back over to the homeowner.

What We're Looking For

• Previous landscaping, construction, hardscaping, irrigation, or outdoor labor experience is helpful.
• Comfortable performing physical work outdoors throughout the day.
• Able to lift and carry landscaping materials and safely operate basic tools.
• Dependable and able to arrive at job sites on time.
• Willing to learn different areas of landscape construction instead of limiting yourself to one task.
• Valid driver's license is preferred.
• Experience with irrigation, grading, pavers, retaining walls, or equipment operation is a plus.
