Job Description

Mueller, Inc., part of Cornerstone Building Brands, is hiring an Inside Sales Representative for our Bryan, TX location.

This role is a mix of sales and project management, where you'll guide customers from the initial quote all the way through delivery. You'll help customers understand their project needs, develop solutions, provide pricing, and then coordinate internally to ensure everything is delivered smoothly.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Own the Order Process: Accurately enter sales orders and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely, seamless delivery of products and services
  • Be the Go-To for Customers: Serve as the primary point of contact, building trust and maintaining strong, long-term relationships
  • Problem Solve with Confidence: Manage post-delivery needs such as damages, shortages, delays, and field adjustments-ensuring issues are resolved quickly and professionally
  • Ensure Accuracy & Compliance: Follow pricing guidelines, policies, and procedures to deliver profitable and compliant sales
  • Bridge Communication: Act as the key liaison between customers and internal teams to align expectations, address challenges, and deliver solutions
  • Stay Ahead of the Market: Monitor and share competitive insights to help strengthen positioning and drive growth
  • Deliver a Strong Customer Experience: Champion customer-focused activities and ensure every interaction reflects a high level of service and professionalism
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3+ years of experience in a sales or service-oriented role preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a high level of attention to detail and organization
  • Professional, reliable, and committed to delivering quality work
  • Comfortable using computers and business software (Microsoft Office and similar tools)
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered

Work Environment

  • This is a 100% office-based role, working closely with internal teams and supporting customers in a fast-paced environment
