- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in a 17-bed ICU — scope includes medical, surgical, cardiac/vascular, and stroke patients
- Perform ventilator and mechanical ventilation management, tracheostomy care, and post-surgical recovery monitoring
- Manage invasive lines and hemodynamic monitoring: arterial lines (A-line), CVP, Swan-Ganz when applicable
- Care for chest tubes, drains, and participate in complex critical care procedures
- Use bedside telemetry monitoring and participate in bedside rounds with intensivists and the multidisciplinary care team
- Float to intermediate units, MSU, ED boarding, and observation units as needed — flexible critical care support
- Collaborate with charge nurses, ICU pharmacists, respiratory therapists, clinical educators, and other allied health staff
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation using EPIC and uphold hospital standards for charting and compliance
