Member Service Representative (MSR/Teller) - Cloquet, MN

This full-time, entry-level position offers a starting wage of $17.00 per hour or more depending on experience, plus eligibility to earn incentive pay. NCU also offers a performance-based career path with advancement opportunities as you grow your skills and expertise. Candidates with relevant credit union or MSR/Teller experience may be considered for placement at the MSR II or III level and may be offered a higher starting wage, based on experience.
MSR Career Path & Hourly Pay Ranges:
  • MSR I: $16.33 - $22.69 (midpoint: $18.15)
  • MSR II: $17.20 - $23.89 (midpoint: $19.11)
  • MSR III: $18.06 - $25.09 (midpoint: $20.07)

*Minimum starting rate: $17.00/hour
Qualifications for a Member Service Representative
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Prior experience in customer service or cash handling is a plus, but not required

A Day in the Life of an MSR
In this role, you'll do more than provide great service. You'll build trusted relationships, create meaningful impact, and be part of a supportive, collaborative team that truly has each other's backs. As a Member Service Representative, you're the friendly first point of contact, delivering exceptional service with every interaction. You process routine financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency, while taking the time to truly understand each member's unique financial needs and recommending solutions that support their goals.
You'll play a vital role in strengthening our members' financial wellbeing as well as the community by creating positive experiences and building connections that support NCU's vision of building life-long relationships, one member at a time.
Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with rotating Saturday shifts (approximately once per month) from 9:00 AM to noon. 8-hour weekday shifts may vary between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM depending on location.
