Job description

Job Summary:
Link High Technologies is an IT provider delivering end-to-end technology solutions for clients. They are seeking a Field Engineer to provide on-site support for PCs, networking equipment, servers, and desktop software, while also assisting with service tickets when not in the field.
Responsibilities:
• Provide on-site support for PCs, networking equipment, servers, firewalls, and desktop software for small to medium-sized organizations.
• Perform a wide variety of IT support ranging from simple desktop support to complex server and network issues.
• Report to the Florham Park, NJ office when not in the field and assist with Service Tickets and configuring computer and network equipment.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Field Work in the NJ/PA/NYC area. Will report to the Florham Park office when not in the field.
• Must have a reliable car. IRS mileage reimbursement.
• Experience working independently while collaborating with other technical staff as necessary.
• Willingness to take ownership of issues and take initiative.
• Ability to follow internal procedures and document tickets and time daily in our PSA and documentation platform.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Commit to continuous education, certification and self-improvement.
• 3 + years of RECENT professional MSP FIELD experience in supporting the following: (MSP/VAR or IT consulting firm highly preferred)
• PC Migration and Deployments (Copy profiles, data, etc.)
• Windows Desktop OS troubleshooting
• Mid Level experience with Server administration and troubleshooting
• Office 365 Experience (Basic Administration and troubleshooting)
• Networking connectivity & related equipment
• Corporate Firewalls (We standardize on SonicWall)
• Backup Technologies such as Datto
• Meets all assigned technical training goals.
• Must live within 25 miles of Florham Park, NJ
Preferred:
• Experience with ConnectWise, Automate or similar products is highly preferred
