Additionally, this role will support the development of new products and services, specifically defining pricing and business modeling efforts that support MSOs, physicians, and practices. Reporting directly to the SVP, Finance - MSO, this role will help drive financial performance, operational efficiency, and alignment with the organization’s business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare management, financial operations, and regulatory compliance, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the enterprise.The Senior Director, Finance - MSO, will play a key role in supporting the financial strategy of the MSO, helping ensure it delivers value to affiliated practices, providers, and the broader organization.**Responsibilities*** Support the financial health and strategy, including capital deployment processes. Partners with business to ensure both near-term and long-term goals are met. Support financial modeling on M&A and monitor progress on deal synergies. Help strengthen operations through financial governance and standardized integration processes.* Support the development and execution of the MSO’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall goals and priorities.* M&A & Integration focused on financial assessment of acquisitions, including modeling assumptions. Additionally, supporting financial integration to drive business cases and governance. Support tracking of synergies and dis-synergies. * Provide financial analysis and guidance to the MSO leadership team, supporting strategic decision-making and long-term planning.* Partner with executive leadership to identify opportunities for growth, cost optimization, and operational improvements.* Financial business partner for business unit, local FP&A, contracting (supplier/payer), tracking & driving initiatives, etc.* MSO FP&A and Reporting will standardize financial processes and reporting, ensuring high-quality forecasting and insights upstream downstream (i.e. practice-level)* Partnering with MSO CFOs on the development of budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support the MSO’s operations and strategic initiatives.* Monitor financial performance against key metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.* Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve profitability, efficiency, and resource allocation.* Advance the commercial platform and structure to proactively address opportunities to align finance activities for optimization and synergy around what is conducted from “center” vs. therapeutic area (i.e. RCA). * Ensure the efficient management of day-to-day financial operations, including revenue cycle management, billing, and collections.* Implement and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.* Support the financial integration of new MSOs, helping ensure a seamless transition and alignment with financial goals.* Responsibilities involve collaborating on strategic planning, identifying targets and assessing targets, and monitoring market trends.* Support M&A deal model creation for non-programmatic M&A, development of synergy case and overall recommendation to management, in partnership with Corporate Development. The role includes comprehensive financial analysis and valuation of target companies, creating models to assess viability and synergy potential. Financial due diligence, including identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting deal structuring and negotiation are also key* Post-merger integration tasks include consolidating systems, aligning policies, and tracking synergy realization. The role requires preparing reports and presentations for leadership and managing risks. In addition, this role will pull through finance integration in partnership with the Finance Integration team.* In partnership with LCA, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, financial reporting standards, and other applicable laws.* Identify and manage financial risks, developing mitigation strategies to protect the organization’s assets and reputation.* Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory requirements and audits.* Strong alignment and transparency with the Therapeutic Area (TA) CFOs.* Serve as a trusted advisor to the MSO leadership team, providing financial insights and support for key initiatives.* Partner with clinical, operational, and administrative leaders to align financial strategies with business goals.* Represent the MSO in financial discussions with external stakeholders, including affiliated practices, vendors, and regulatory agencies.* Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.* Mentor and develop team members, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.* Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the finance team and across the organization.**Education and Work Experience*** Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required. Normally requires a minimum of 8+ years of progressively responsible experience, including at least 2 years at the management level. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master’s in Finance) or CPA designation is preferred.* Proven track record of success in a healthcare or MSO environment, with a strong understanding of revenue cycle management, provider compensation models, and healthcare financial operations.* Experience managing complex budgets, financial planning processes, and operational integration.**Skills and Knowledge*** Outstanding business acumen, extending beyond financial discipline.* Demonstrated expertise in financial management principles, financial statement analysis, plan development, productivity and profitability analysis, and financial reporting.* Expertise in financial planning software and applications* Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other leaders* Strong leadership and influencing skills* Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills* Excellent problem-solving skills and sound judgment* Strong organizational skills; attention to detail* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Hyperion or other data analytics platforms* Working understanding of AI (Copilot/ChatGPT/Claude experience) #J-18808-Ljbffr
