We are looking for a Sales Manager working out of our Corporate Office in Troy, MI.
REQUIREMENT
Sales Manager responsible for generating new sales in the autmotive and non-automotive markets such as: automotive PT ICE/EV/ICE-agnostic, fluid power, agriculture and construction markets. Collaborates with all NA facilities to provide support and direction to the team. A natural leader who can be part of a team and contribute to a winning company culture. Generates profitable sales growth.
POSITION DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • High performing, professional salesperson.
  • Responsible for growing MPI's business with existing and new customers on an annual basis.
  • Must be able to generate profitable revenue growth in core competency markets.
  • Natural leader who develops, leads, and inspires professionals.
  • 50% travel in NA.
  • Develop and responsible for creating and driving a strong sales strategy focused on targeted markets and customers.
  • Ability to negotiate, secure and close new large business contract sales (multi-million) on an annual basis.
  • Drives strong part margins and efficient closure of customer commercial issues.
  • Corporate sales mentality focused on growing targeted markets in the Midwest for fineblanked and conventionally stamped parts.
    • Markets: Automotive, fluid power, agriculture, construction.
    • Existing customers of focus include: Bosch Automotive, Bosch Rexroth, John Deere, Danfoss,
  • Responsible for all commercial topics related to MPI's facilities for the specific list of current and new customer base.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Positive leadership skills. World class teaming skill. Strong communication skills
  • 7-10 years of experience and knowledge selling high volume metal fabricated parts to OEM and Tier 1 companies such as: Stellantis, GM, Ford, John Deere, AAM, Danfoss and Bosch type customers.
  • Ability to develop customer specific value add propositions. Ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a technical related field.
  • Strong sales management background including effective negotiating skills and a history of securing new annual sales.
  • 7-10 years of experience selling metal stampings, fineblankings, machined parts.
