Moxy isn't your typical hotel - it's a stylish, playful,and social experience designed for the next-gen traveler. At Moxy, our crewdoes it all: check guests in, shake up cocktails, and create unforgettablestays with bold personality and warm hospitality.
We are looking for an Evening Operations Manager that isinvolved in all facets of property management, with heavy oversight of the FrontDesk and F&B Operations.
Responsibilities
โ€ข Serveas the manager on duty for all hotel operations during evening hours, acting asthe primary point of contact for guests, team members, and any escalatedsituations
โ€ข OverseeBar Moxy floor operations, ensuring service standards, pace, and guestexperience are consistently executed
โ€ข Partnerwith the front desk team to ensure seamless guest arrivals, departures, and anyovernight needs are handled with urgency and care
โ€ข Monitorand manage labor and operational decisions within established guidelines
โ€ข Coachand hold accountable hourly team members in real time, providing feedback thatreinforces standards without disrupting the guest experience
โ€ข Conductpre-shift meetings and ensure the team is prepared, informed, and energizedbefore each service
โ€ข Completenightly manager logs and communicate relevant updates to hotel leadership
โ€ข Respondto and resolve guest concerns promptly, following up to ensure satisfaction
โ€ข Maintaina visible, approachable presence on the floor throughout the shift rather thanoperating from the back of house
Qualifications
  • 2+ years in a high-volume bar or restaurant environment, preferably in a hotel or lifestyle/boutique brand
  • Experience managing or leading a team, including scheduling and performance conversations
  • Comfort operating at or near the front desk, handling guest escalations, check-ins, or lobby presence during peak hours
  • Strong floor presence during service, not a back-office operator
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and peak periods consistently
  • Basic PMS familiarity is a plus, not a requirement
  • TIPS/ServSafe certified or willing to obtain
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be fluent in English.
