What are moving storage services?

Moving storage services are companies or solutions that help individuals or businesses store their belongings temporarily, especially during a move. These services typically offer secure storage units where items can be kept for short or long periods. They often provide pickup and delivery options, making it convenient to move items in and out of storage. Moving storage is useful for people who need to bridge the gap between moving out of one place and into another, or for those who need extra space during home renovations.

What is the 3 month rule for jobs?

The 3 month rule in moving storage jobs typically refers to a probationary period of three months during which an employee's performance and suitability for the role are evaluated. After this period, employees may be considered for permanent employment, benefits, or advancement opportunities. This timeframe helps employers assess reliability and skills before offering long-term employment.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Moving and Storage Professional, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Moving and Storage Professional, you need physical strength, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of logistics, typically supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with moving equipment, inventory management systems, and sometimes a commercial driver's license (CDL) are often required. Strong customer service skills, teamwork, and reliability help professionals excel in this role. These skills are essential to ensure safe handling of items, efficient workflows, and positive customer experiences during moves.

What jobs pay $700 a day?

These positions often require skills in logistics, physical strength, and experience, and may involve working long hours or in challenging environments.

What is a job that makes you move a lot?

A moving storage job, such as a mover or moving laborer, involves frequent physical relocation of items and equipment. These roles often require lifting, packing, and transporting belongings, and may involve working in various locations daily or weekly.

Professionals in moving and storage often face challenges such as handling heavy or awkward items, working in varying weather conditions, and managing tight schedules. Effective communication with team members and clients is crucial to ensure smooth moves and prevent damages. Join Phoenix's Fastest Growing Moving Company

At Lifetime Moving & Storage, we're looking for a driven, customer-focused Moving Sales Consultant to join our growing team. As the Phoenix agent for Bekins Van Lines, one of America's most respected moving networks, we combine the personalized service of a family-owned business with the resources, reach, and reputation of a national van line.

This is a high-impact sales role where you'll turn inbound leads into booked moves while also building your own pipeline through local partnerships and proactive outreach. You'll have the opportunity to sell local, long-distance, interstate, and storage solutions backed by the strength of the Bekins network.

If you're competitive, organized, and motivated by performance-based pay, this role offers strong earning potential and real opportunity for advancement.

What You'll Do

  • Respond to inbound leads quickly via phone, email, and CRM

  • Conduct detailed move consultations to assess inventory, scope, and logistics

  • Prepare and present accurate, competitive estimates for local and long-distance moves

  • Proactively follow up to convert leads into booked moves

  • Generate your own leads through networking, outreach, and relationship building

  • Develop partnerships with realtors, apartment communities, HOAs, brokers, builders, senior living communities, and relocation professionals

  • Actively prospect and hunt for new business opportunities

  • Educate customers on the benefits of moving with a Bekins-affiliated agent

  • Track all activity and communication within the CRM

  • Meet and exceed monthly booking and revenue goals

  • Partner with operations for a seamless transition from sale to execution

  • Deliver a high-trust, consultative sales experience

What Success Looks Like

  • Rapid response time to new inbound leads

  • Strong close rate on qualified opportunities

  • Consistent self-generated pipeline in addition to company-provided leads

  • Accurate estimates with minimal post-booking adjustments

  • Strategic follow-up and relationship management

  • Positive customer reviews and referral-driven business

  • Growth of local referral and professional partner networks

  • Achievement of monthly booked revenue and margin goals

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ year of inside or outside sales experience

  • Moving, logistics, relocation, or home services experience preferred

  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills

  • Confident communicator with excellent objection-handling ability

  • Comfortable working in CRM systems and sales pipelines

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Competitive, goal-oriented, and self-motivated

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Professional presence and a consultative sales mindset

Compensation & Benefits

  • Paid training with base compensation during an initial 90-day ramp-up period

  • Transition to 100% commission-based compensation with uncapped earning potential

  • Company-provided leads plus opportunity to build your own book of business

  • Car allowance provided upon meeting monthly booked revenue minimums

  • High-performing consultants have significant six-figure income potential

  • Unlimited Time Off

  • Retirement plan with company matching

  • Career growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding company

  • Team-oriented, high-performance culture

  • Opportunity to represent both a trusted local brand and a nationally recognized van line

Why Lifetime Moving & Storage?

  • Family-owned and operated company with a reputation for exceptional customer service

  • Phoenix's local agent for Bekins Van Lines

  • Local, interstate, long-distance, storage, and specialty moving services

  • Strong marketing support and lead generation

  • Growth-focused leadership team committed to employee success

  • Clear path for advancement as the company continues to expand
