Job description

Medical Device manufacturer is seeking a detail oriented and highly organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, conducting regular audits and ensuring efficient storage and distribution of materials. The position requires a keen eye for detail to maintain accurate inventory records, along with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with various departments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to work within a team to streamline operations, report inventory issues, and support the timely availability of materials for production and customer orders.
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring stock levels are aligned with demand.
  • Perform routine inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and production departments to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
  • Track product movement and ensure proper storage conditions are maintained.
  • Report inventory trends, variances and other issues to management, recommending corrective actions as needed.
  • Assist is preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports on inventory.
  • Monitor expiration dates of materials
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies for inventory handling and storage to minimize risks

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years experience in inventory control
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to mange multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs
  • Perform tasks that may require standing or sitting for extended periods

Additional Requirements:
  • Must read, write, speak and understand English.

Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
40 hours per week
