Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Purchasing & Inventory Specialist to support a growing industrial manufacturing operation in Miami.

This role is responsible for purchasing production materials, maintaining inventory levels, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring manufacturing operations have the materials needed to meet production schedules.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands both purchasing and inventory management in a manufacturing environment and enjoys working closely with production, warehouse, engineering, and operations teams.


Responsibilities

  • Purchase raw materials, mechanical components, industrial supplies, and production materials
  • Create and manage purchase orders while monitoring vendor pricing and delivery schedules
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Monitor inventory levels and establish reorder points
  • Prevent material shortages that could impact production
  • Coordinate inventory replenishment and material availability
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP system
  • Perform inventory analysis, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution
  • Generate purchasing and inventory reports using Excel
  • Work closely with production, warehouse, engineering, accounting, and operations teams
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to purchasing and inventory control


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Minimum 3 years of inventory management experience supporting production operations
  • Experience purchasing industrial materials, mechanical components, raw materials, or production supplies
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, material planning, and reorder point management
  • ERP or MRP system experience required
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
