Job description

The shipping clerk will be responsible for the following:
Pick customer orders, inspect customer ordrs as part of QC process, package customer orders, process customer shipments, contact carriers to coordinate transportation, track and maintain shipping supply inventory, cycle count and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies. Other duties as determined by the Distribution Manager.
Must be able to work well in a team setting under direct supervision. Must be highly organized with excellent communication skills.
Skills & Requirements
HS diploma or equivalent.
3 or more years of shipping experience using UPS, USPS and FedEx software.
3 or more years of LTL and truckload experience.
Must be able to complete shipping documents, including BOLs and all customs documents.
Reach truck experience. Must be a self starter and have knowledge of common warehouse procedures.
