Salary is determined by the set hourly rate for non-credit positions.
Campus Norfolk, NE General Description
The purpose of this position is to service, maintain, and repair Northeast's motorcycle inventory that are used for Motorcycle Rider Course generally offered throughout the months of March through September. This may include routine service including replacing spark plugs and changing oil, repair of brakes and clutches, batteries, transmissions, engines, and other operating systems.
Mechanic will need to provide their own tools to work on the motorcycles.
Qualifications: Education
High school diploma or GED required.
Qualification:Experience
Over three years; up to and including five years preferred
Work requires broad knowledge or education in general motorcycle repair, engine assembly, calibration, mechanical technology, diagnostics testing and others.
Certification requirements may vary, depending on the program area. Must have a current motorcycle endorsement.
Qualification:Skills
Must have strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, as well as reliability and ability to be flexible.
