At least 6 years of hands-on experience as a European automotive technician is required to be considered for this position.

ASE certification or prior experience working in a European Specialty Shop.

Compensation:

$85,000 - $125,000 yearly


Responsibilities:
  • Use diagnostic equipment, technical expertise, and the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic systems to identify and determine the cause of malfunction codes
  • Follow a checklist-based approach to comprehensively examine all vehicle systems, such as the engine, transmission, air conditioning, and brake systems
  • When needed, conduct routine maintenance such as checking fluids, rotating tires, replacing brake pads, and oil changes
  • Facilitate customer satisfaction and repeat business by following all manufacturer specifications for vehicle systems repairs
  • Create protocols for tracking diagnostic tests and repairs, acquiring necessary technical manuals, and more throughout our dealerships

Qualifications:
  • Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory
  • Automotive Service Excellence /ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers /SAE certification is preferred
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Completion of a certified post-secondary training program is mandatory; an associate degree is ideal

Successful candidates for this Automotive Technician position will have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a European Automotive Technician
  • B-level qualifications, including Complex Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work independently
  • Troubleshooting/Computer skills/wiring diagrams
  • Good communicator and proper professional writing skills
  • Personal set of tools
  • Valid US driver’s license with a clean record
  • US work authorization
