We are looking for well rounded and experienced mechanic capable of working on all kinds of vehicles.

We typically repair vehicles ranging from the 2000s to 2025s, all makes and models.

Role Description

The Automotive Mechanic role is a full-time, on-site position located in Carpentersville, IL. This role is responsible for diagnosing vehicle issues, performing routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks, and completing mechanical repairs in accordance with safety and quality standards. The Automotive Mechanic will use diagnostic tools and technical manuals, maintain accurate repair records, and communicate clearly with service managers about findings, timelines, and required parts. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting vehicles, identifying and resolving mechanical and electrical problems, ensuring all work areas and equipment are kept clean and safe, and supporting a positive experience for customers through reliable, efficient service.

  • Ability to perform routine maintenance services, use hand and power tools safely, and follow manufacturer specifications and service procedures.
  • Solid problem-solving, documentation, and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple repair orders.
  • Clear, professional communication skills for working with service managers, teammates, and customers.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an automotive technology program or relevant certifications (e.g., ASE) is preferred.
  • Prior experience as an automotive mechanic or technician in a shop or dealership environment is highly beneficial.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, reliability, and consistent attendance, with the ability to work full-time on-site in Carpentersville, IL.
