Overland Charters is a 29 year old charter company that is growing by several new Prevost motorcoaches per year. We operate out of several locations Oklahoma City, Tulsa Oklahoma, Wichita Kansas, Springfield Missouri, Fort Worth Texas and Houston Texas.

Job Title: Motor Coach Operator

Job Summary

The Motor Coach Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers on scheduled routes, charter trips, tours, or special events. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong customer service abilities, and strict adherence to traffic laws and company policies to ensure passenger safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate motor coaches safely in accordance with traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations
  • Transport passengers on assigned routes, charters, tours, or longdistance trips
  • Perform pretrip and posttrip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues
  • Assist passengers with boarding, seating, luggage loading, and unloading
  • Provide courteous and professional customer service at all times
  • Maintain accurate trip logs, inspection reports, and required documentation
  • Follow schedules and adjust routes when necessary due to traffic or weather conditions
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies, accidents, or passenger concerns
  • Keep the vehicle clean and presentable during and after trips
  • Qualifications & Requirements
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement and no air brake restriction.
  • Clean driving record
  • Minimum [X] years of experience operating buses or motor coaches (preferred)
  • Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overnight trips
