Motorcoach Driver
The role of Motorcoach Driver is responsible for safely transporting passengers on long distance and local routes including charters, tours, and contracted services. This position ensures a high level of safety, reliability, and customer service while operating company motorcoaches. The Motorcoach Driver represents the company during trips and is responsible for maintaining professionalism, compliance, and overall passenger experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Safely operate a motorcoach for charter trips, tours, and contracted routes
Transport passengers to and from destinations in a timely and efficient manner
Conduct pre trip and post trip inspections and report any maintenance concerns
Ensure compliance with DOT, state, and company safety regulations
Maintain accurate logs, mileage, and trip documentation
Provide a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times
Assist passengers with boarding, luggage, and general needs
Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, and route updates
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the motorcoach
Follow all safety procedures and respond appropriately in emergency situations
Education, Experience and Skills:
Valid CDL with passenger endorsement required
Acceptable driving record and ability to pass background checks and drug screening
Previous commercial driving experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and hours of service requirements
Strong commitment to safety and customer service
Effective communication skills
Ability to manage time, routes, and trip schedules independently
Flexibility to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, and overnight trips
