THE ROLE: 

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and creative leader who will be responsible for managing, leading, and developing a Board Validation engineering team that is working with pre- and post-silicon hardware, software, and diagnostic teams to help ensure motherboard health for silicon success and rapid silicon validation of our products. Your team is responsible for ….. 

THE PERSON: 

Strong communication and team-working skills are essential, with a validated ability to lead and influence. Validated experience inspiring change and working across functions and geographies to deliver products to specific critical metrics. Critical thinking and experience working in dynamic environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Participating and playing critical role in resource prioritization and task planning 
  • Contributing to test plan design and establishing requirements 
  • Providing day-to-day oversight for the team, with specific responsibilities for the feature enablement and validation of interfaces as they relate to Data centers and AI.
  • While the team has technical leads for each portion, this is a technical role that requires broad system knowledge and the ability to drive technical issues to resolution 
  • Problem solving – the successful candidate loves debugging complex problems and has a track record of doing so 
  • Drive validation planning for each Product Board as well as execution towards program breakthroughs 
  • In partnership with other global validation leaders, identify, describe, and implement changes to our post-silicon validation methodologies to increase efficiency and product quality 
  • Develop strategic direction for validation automation based on team requirements 
  • Management of a team of 7+ engineers, including mentoring and providing technical guidance 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Prior, preferably recent, experience working within the Motherboard design and validation industry blending both engineering expertise with team leadership skills 
  • Knowledge of Datacenter and AI technologies is ideal 
  • Experience with automation and validation methodologies  
  • Experience with pre- or post-silicon Board verification/validation, power, and performance analysis

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related discipline preferred
