Job description

Farmington High School: Permanent  Building Substitute needed!
GREAT opportunity for those interested in obtaining a teaching certification or those looking to support their local district. This position will allow direct experience working in the classroom as a teacher or paraprofessional.
This position will support the High School (Gr 9-12) and occassionally the Middle School if needed (7-8).
Permanent Building Sub daily pay rate: $140 per day!



 

All Permanent Building Substitues are guaranteed an assignment every day that school is in session.  Assignments will be made daily based on your home-school.  Position may terminate at the end of the 2025-2026 school year.          
Application Procedure:
Apply online and submit 3 letters of reference and copies of college transcripts.  If hired, you must be fingerprinted within 30 days.  Candidates with State of CT Teacher Certification preferred.
Selection Procedure: Selected candidates will be contacted by email or phone to schedule an interview with a district administrator.
