What is a Monday through Friday RN?

Monday Through Friday RNs are registered nurses who work regular weekday shifts, typically excluding weekends. These positions are often found in clinics, schools, outpatient facilities, or administrative roles where patient care is needed during standard business hours. This schedule can offer a better work-life balance compared to hospital positions that require nights and weekends. Monday Through Friday RNs still perform essential nursing duties such as patient assessments, administering medications, and coordinating care.

What are some of the unique aspects of working as a Monday through Friday RN compared to traditional shift-based nursing roles?

A Monday through Friday RN position typically offers more predictable hours and a structured workweek, often in settings such as clinics, schools, or administrative roles. This schedule allows for a better work-life balance compared to traditional hospital shifts, which may include nights, weekends, or holidays. However, the role can present challenges such as a fast-paced environment, managing higher patient volumes during business hours, and coordinating care across multiple disciplines. Collaboration with physicians, other nurses, and administrative staff is common, and strong organizational skills are essential to manage daily responsibilities efficiently.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Monday through Friday RN, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Monday Through Friday RN, you need a valid RN license, clinical expertise, and strong patient assessment skills. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs), scheduling systems, and common medical equipment is typically required. Strong communication, time management, and teamwork abilities are crucial for coordinating care across set weekday hours. These skills ensure efficient, consistent patient care and smooth operations within outpatient or weekday-focused healthcare environments.

Job description

Weekdays Only | No Nights, Weekends, or Holidays

Base Salary: $210,000 (Permanent W2)

Imagine practicing anesthesia on a schedule that actually looks like a normal work week. This outpatient CRNA role in West Palm Beach offers Monday through Friday hours with no nights, weekends, holidays, or call — a rare find in anesthesia, and one that gives you your evenings and weekends back for good.

Why You'll Love This Role

You'll work in a dedicated endoscopy setting providing anesthesia for GI procedures — a low-acuity, high-efficiency environment built around CRNA autonomy rather than heavy oversight. The culture here is collaborative and team-based, with strong infrastructure supporting consistent, predictable days.

Beyond the schedule, this opportunity includes:

  • Annual incentive potential of up to $13,000
  • CME/dues allowance of $1,500
  • 5 weeks of vacation, increasing to 6 weeks after 3 years, plus 8 paid holidays (33–38 total days off depending on tenure)
  • Malpractice coverage with tail
  • Cigna health insurance, with optional dental, vision, life, disability, legal, and pet insurance
  • HSA/HRA and FSA options
  • 401(k) with 3% Safe Harbor contribution after one year, 100% vested
  • Relocation assistance available
Your Day-to-Day
  • Provide outpatient anesthesia for GI procedures in a dedicated endoscopy environment
  • Complete patient assessments prior to procedures
  • Monitor patients throughout each procedure
  • Manage recovery in a low-acuity, collaborative setting
What We're Looking For
  • Current CRNA license
  • Ability to meet Florida credentialing standards
  • Endoscopy experience is a plus, but not required
Why Candidates Say Yes

For CRNAs who are ready to trade unpredictable call schedules for genuine work-life balance, this role delivers exactly that — steady weekday hours, a lower-acuity setting, and a supportive team environment, all in one of South Florida's most sought-after coastal cities.

Ready to Apply?

If a true Monday-through-Friday anesthesia practice sounds like the change you've been waiting for, we'd love to talk with you about this West Palm Beach opportunity.
