Job description

About the Role

Join the core engineering team of a fast-growing AI voice automation startup as a Full-Stack Software Engineer. You'll work across the entire stack — from backend architecture and telephony integrations to polished frontend dashboards — helping power millions of AI-driven conversations at scale.

What You'll Do
  • Build and ship core platform features including prompt orchestration, analytics dashboards, and telephony integrations.

  • Design and develop scalable full-stack systems, spanning intuitive UIs, robust APIs, and DevOps workflows.

  • Own projects end-to-end — from architecture decisions through deployment and continuous iteration.

  • Create developer-friendly interfaces and APIs that enable customers to activate in hours, not days.

  • Support customer onboarding, debug production issues, and translate user feedback into product improvements.

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of full-stack or frontend engineering experience, ideally at startups or high-growth tech companies.

  • Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript for frontend development.

  • Strong proficiency in backend languages — Python and/or Node.js — and experience with AWS.

  • Deep knowledge of distributed systems architecture and backend implementation.

  • Experience building and shipping full-stack features from design through production in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

  • Strong CS fundamentals; degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering preferred.

  • Founder-level ownership mindset — comfortable driving projects independently and speaking up to suggest improvements.

  • Experience with Voice AI, speech processing, real-time audio systems, or telephony platforms is a strong plus.

  • Senior or staff-level engineering background is advantageous.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $215,000 – $290,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site in Los Angeles, CA. Other office locations include San Francisco, Redwood City, and New York City.
