Job description


Monarch Medical Clinic promotes flexibility, accessibility and elevated customer service extended to facility operators and the clients they serve.
We are currently looking to fill a part-time NP position to deliver high quality care to residents and clients in the community. As a contracted NP you will be responsible to run your own independent business in the delivery of high quality care to operators, staff, clients and their families under the mission and vision of Monarch Medical Clinic. This position is highly autonomous and independent; you must be in possession of advanced Primary Health Care knowledge, confident in your decision making and have experience caring for complex various conditions.
  • Recording a patient’s medical history
  • Providing primary care to patients
  • Updating medical records
  • Documenting symptoms
  • Collecting samples (blood, urine, mucus, stool, etc.)
  • Ordering lab tests or diagnostic procedures as necessary
  • Performing detailed examinations of the patient
  • Creating and implementing treatment plans
  • Coordinating with other medical professionals and specialists as necessary
  • Prescribing medications
  • Performing small medical procedures
  • Monitoring patients to determine if treatment is successful and, if not, to identify which adjustments might be made
  • Provide high quality customer service
Job Requirements:
Completion of recognized Nurse Practitioner program - Primary Health Care preferred
Current extended class certification with College of Nurses of California
Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience (family practice)
Experience with chronic disease management 
Ability to deal with crisis situation promptly and effectively
Strong interpersonal, leadership and problem solving skills
Valid CPR and First Aid certification
Current vulnerable sector police check
You must have reliable means of transportation
The position allows for some scheduling flexibility
