Job Summary

The Blow Mold Associate is responsible for removing finished products from the molds and trimming excess plastic from the parts.


Essential Functions:

  • Operates blow mold machines.
  • Removes and clean excess material from product.
  • Inspects product for quality control.
  • Weighs parts every 15 minutes or as directed by supervisor.
  • Assists with material, color and product change procedures.
  • Prepares boxes to put finished product, labels and tapes boxes.
  • Identifies and reports quality or safety issues to the appropriate supervisor or department lead or manager.
  • Assist in training new blow mold associates.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to bend, twist, and reach while handling objects and using power and hand tools.
  • Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis, and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Will be working in a warehouse environment and may be exposed to varying temperatures and inclement weather conditions. There will also be frequent exposure to dirt and dust.
  • Exposure to moderate noise levels in the workplace for the majority of the day, due to the constant use of forklift and hand-held power tools.
