Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Plastic Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Orangeville. This role involves operating various plastic processing machinery during morning and night shifts, ensuring high-quality production standards are met. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with plastics blow molding, extrusion, injection molding, and fabrication processes. Your expertise will contribute to efficient manufacturing operations, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Operate plastic manufacturing equipment including plastics blow molding machines, extrusion lines, injection molding presses, CNC lathes, CNC machines, and press brake machines.
  • Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Handle materials safely and efficiently using forklifts and other warehouse equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of machinery to maximize uptime and performance.
  • Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and improve overall production efficiency.
