- Develop detailed cost of goods sold (COGS) estimates for healthcare and commercial projects.
- Build and maintain estimating databases, including Bills of Materials and historical cost data.
- Leverage data analytics, AI, and modeling tools to improve estimating accuracy and efficiency.
- Partner with Design, Manufacturing, Construction, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to align cost, schedule, and risk.
- Prepare estimates across all phases (conceptual, schematic, design development, GMP).
- Analyze project risks, pricing strategies, and value engineering opportunities.
- Support procurement strategy through vendor and subcontractor collaboration.
- Ensure seamless handoff from estimating to operations with clear documentation.
- Contribute to proposals, presentations, and client facing discussions.
- Drive continuous improvement of estimating processes, tools, and performance metrics.
Job Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in estimating, cost analysis, or data analytics within construction, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, CAD, Revit, or SolidWorks models.
- Strong understanding of cost modeling, scheduling, and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with Python, SQL, or data modeling tools.
- Knowledge of AI/ML, statistical modeling, or data engineering concepts.
