Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Metro Elevator Georgia, Inc. ("Metro Elevator", "Metro") is searching for a highly motivated Modernization Account Executive responsible for driving revenue growth through both new business development and strategic management of existing customer relationships. This role focuses on identifying modernization opportunities, developing long-term improvement strategies for customers, and delivering customized modernization solutions that improve performance, safety, reliability, and lifecycle value. The ideal candidate is skilled at building trusted advisor relationships, uncovering modernization needs within existing portfolios, and proactively pursuing new modernization opportunities in the market.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, develop, and negotiate modernization projects through consultative presentations, site evaluations, and solution-based selling approaches
  • Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of existing accounts by identifying modernization opportunities and developing long-term strategies
  • Conduct regular customer meetings and site visits to assess equipment condition, discuss modernization planning, and strengthen customer relationships
  • Partner closely with operations, engineering, and project management teams to ensure modernization projects are delivered successfully and exceed customer expectations
  • Meet aggressive modernization sales and revenue growth targets within assigned territory
  • Qualify and pursue new customer leads to generate modernization opportunities
  • Analyze equipment lifecycle, code compliance, performance issues, and market conditions to recommend tailored modernization solutions that align with customer goals and budgets
  • Develop a strong understanding of modernization products, systems, and technologies through collaboration with operations and sales leadership
  • Prepare modernization proposals, equipment assessments, project scopes, and customer presentations with a focus on value, reliability, and return on investment
  • Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, pipeline management, and forecasting within Metro's sales tools

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work dynamically and quickly in a team-oriented atmosphere
  • Self-motivated and ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to create relationships internally and externally
  • Goal-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (a plus, but not required):

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, Marketing or related field
  • A minimum of two (2) years of successful industry sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Knowledge of the elevator industry
