ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary: 

  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. 
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management. 
  • Provides prompt, courteous service to guests while maintaining a friendly and pleasant atmosphere. 
  • Provides quality service to both internal and external guests, specifically maintaining established quality standards for timely food and beverage. 
  • Performs cleaning and maintenance tasks such as cleaning tables, taking dishes to the kitchen, stocking beer, wine and ice as needed. 
  • Takes out garbage as necessary. 
  • Changes kegs, beer tanks, CO2 tanks, and pop for pop guns as needed. 
  • Maintains the cleanliness and organization of all bar service areas. 
  • Brings bar and grill glasses back from dishwashing/warewash support. 
  • Takes empty kegs to Purchasing or warehouse location. 
  • Responsible to clean all areas in bar. 
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS  

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • High School Diploma or GED 
  • 6 months of previous experience in a high volume bar, pool, dayclub, or nightclub environment preferred 
  • Previous modeling experience in a dayclub and/or nightclub environment preferred 
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate. 
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner. 
  • Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints, with particular attention to detail.  
  • Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills and good public relations skills with a good personality, enjoying opportunities to work with and assist people.  
  • Proper mental attitude to deal effectively with guests, management, vendors and employees while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.  
  • Must be able to withstand extreme sun & heat, cold, and inclement weather for long periods of time throughout the day. 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required. 

REASONING ABILITY  

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS 

Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations: Nevada Gaming License (Club Venue), Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card, and Nevada Health Card are required.
