Job description

Job Summary: Responsible for providing friendly, engaging, and superior service to every guest. Create a warm, friendly, welcoming atmosphere for guests. Greets and seats parties throughout the restaurant using the established Sequence of Service. Keep the assigned stations cleaned and stocked at all times. Assist other team members with various duties as assigned.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Greet all guests sincerely with a smile and eye contact, and provide superior guest service.
  • Actively promote the venue by engaging every guest and potential guest with in your immediate reach
  • Efficiently seats guests following the service sequence standards
  • Bid farewell to each guest and inviting them to return
  • Answer telephone calls properly and directing the call to the appropriate party when necessary.
  • Run food to tables throughout the restaurant announcing each item as delivered
  • Properly quote wait times for guests and log guests into the reservation system
  • Bus Tables as necessary throughout the restaurant
  • Possess thorough knowledge of all menu items and ability to suggestively sell items to guests
  • Properly set up host stations at start of shift, and break down station at end of shift
  • Clean assigned section and side stations, including menus, tables, chairs, and side stations
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of restaurant
  • Stack and wipe plates and glassware in dish area, maintaining a clean an organized area
  • Empty trash cans to maintain service and sanitation standards
  • Perform assigned side work
  • Actively market FINE ENTERTAINMENT venues by collecting guests’ personal information for the marketing database
  • Must maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all guidelines established by the Southern Nevada Health District
  • Adhere to all Department and Company Policies and Procedures

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Previous experience in desired position is preferred
  • Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Must be able to initiate and engage guests in conversation in a professional manner
  • Must possess a valid Health Card issued by the Southern Nevada Heath District
  • Must have basic math skills
  • Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, lift, and clean during various activities throughout shift
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English
