Job description

Mobility System Engineer Level II will assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining the mobile phone and infrastructure solutions to support the organization's user base. The Engineer will work under the supervision of more senior team members to analyze business needs, recommend solutions, and ensure the successful implementation and ongoing management of Mobility services. In-office position responsible for Inventory and provisioning of used devices.

Essential Functions:

  • 3 to 5 years experience aiding in designing, implementing, and managing Mobile Device Management, Mobile Application Management, Mobile Content Management, Mobile Email Management, Application Wrapping Concepts, and BYOD environment.
  • Experience with support of enterprise environments, including iOS and Android
  • Manage the Mobility environment, including provisioning, configuration, and administration of services utilizing ITIL processes
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and provide end-user training and support
  • Participate in project planning, testing, and deployment strategies and activities
  • Participate in a monthly on-call rotation
  • After hours and weekend activities are possible
  • Flexible work rotation

Education:

Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses:

  • Microsoft Endpoint Administrator MS-102 a Plus
  • Microsoft O365 Mobility and Security MS-101 a Plus
  • Microsoft Endpoint Administrator or equivalent experience a Plus
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate or equivalent experience a Plus
  • VMware AirWatch Associate Enterprise Mobility or equivalent experience a Plus

Experience:

3 to 5 years in related field

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other IT teams
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Skilled at mentoring junior team members to grow technical and process knowledge
  • Knowledge of iOS, Android Phones and Tablets
  • PowerShell Scripting and Automation
