This is a senior role for someone who blends creative problem-solving, technical production expertise, and operational excellence—someone who can architect the vision, steer the logistics, and oversee the execution of high-impact touring programs across the country.

If you live at the intersection of strategy, engineering, fabrication, operations, and experiential storytelling, this is your playground.

What You'll DoMobile Tour Strategy & Leadership
  • Define and drive the long-term vision, growth strategy, and SOPs for Motive's Experiential Mobile Tour department.
  • Oversee the design, engineering, and fabrication of custom experiential mobile touring assets—from trailers and up-fitted vehicles to pop-up structures—ensuring compliance with all technical and regulatory standards.
  • Build complex national routing plans that consider demographics, drive times, event calendars, permitting, and on-the-ground logistics.
  • Manage specialized vendors and oversee maintenance, storage, and lifecycle planning for dedicated tour assets.
Production Management & Execution
  • Lead on-site execution across mobile programs, including install, show flow, event operations, and strike.
  • Plan and manage site services, power, safety considerations, and operational needs unique to mobile environments.
  • Oversee staffing for tours—hiring, training, and managing Tour Managers, CDL Drivers, and field staff.
Cross-Team Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Account, Creative, and Finance teams from kickoff through reconciliation.
  • Work with Creative to scout locations, shape space plans, and value-engineer concepts without compromising vision.
  • Lead scoping for mobile programs, translating strategic direction into tactical plans and detailed estimates.
Budgeting & Financial Stewardship
  • Manage budget development, approvals, and day-to-day financial oversight for six- and seven-figure programs.
  • Track expenditures in real time, forecast accurately, and ensure timely, precise reconciliation.
  • Maintain profitability while advocating for smart solutions and high production value.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Mentor production coordinators and associate producers, serving as a subject-matter authority in mobile tour best practices.
  • Foster a collaborative, solutions-focused, high-standards culture within the Brand Experience team.
  • Contribute to pitches, brainstorms, and broader agency initiatives.
What Success Looks Like
  • You are the subject-matter expert that Account, Creative, Finance, and production peers turn to first.
  • Your tours run smoothly, safely, and efficiently—from pre-production through reconciliation.
  • You elevate experiential concepts by grounding them in technical feasibility and engineering excellence.
  • You lead vendors confidently and manage high-stakes relationships with clarity and authority.
  • Your mentorship strengthens the team and creates future leaders in the production discipline.
What You Bring
  • 8+ years in experiential production, with deep experience producing national mobile tours and complex fabrication builds.
  • Expertise in DOT regulations, commercial driving requirements, multi-market routing, and permitting.
  • Proven success managing large-scale budgets, fast-moving timelines, and complex logistics.
  • Ability to review and critique technical drawings, engineering plans, and electrical schematics.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills, with experience navigating senior clients and sophisticated vendors.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and naturally solutions-focused.
