Day to Day: This is an agile environment where a lot of the "red tape" and enterprise processes do not get in the way. That means when they want something done, they get it done quickly. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THIS INDIVIDUAL CAN WORK IN THIS ENVIRONMENT.

Responsibilities 

70% of the role will be Application Layer development doing 2 things FOLLOWING OOD Principles: 

1) CREATING Mobile Application using enterprise best practices

2) New development using C# /Xamarin IDE / Provide expertise on alternatives.

10% of the role will be focused on partnering with the DBA to setup tables and extract data from the data layer. They have SQL Server 2008/2012 in their environment and LINQ to SQL as their Object Relational Mapping tool to make data access layer development easier. They will NOT need to create stored procedures and triggers from scratch. Just simple statements and queries. 

20% of the role will be focused on validation testing by creating a front end and providing code/optimization review for involved vendor. They will do this by creating a mini test harness within SOAPUI or test automation environment. Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript/etc is needed.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements 

C#/ Web Services- 30% of this job will be consuming using Web API/ RESTful/WCF. Web API is the most preferred, but REST/WCF is fine as well. 

SQL Server 2008/2012- 10% of this role will be- Working within an entity framework & LINQ to SQL. They will partner with a DBA to setup tables, etc. Will NOT create stored procedures and triggers. Just simple queries and statements. 

Expert front end development knowledge using Xamarin IDE. Development of IOS/Android mobile app. Thorough understanding of client server and SOA architecture is a must. Understanding expert knowledge of mobile application development along with various patterns native, web and hybrid concept.

Must have the ability to write enterprise level code with unit testing as well provide contribution for test automation.

Must design patterns experience to ensure loose coupling of application for flexibility.

Must have expert level understanding of HTML5, CSS , Jquery Mobile, Responsive design

Must be a mobile apple nerd! Understand Cordova and phone gap
