Job description

About the role

As a mobile developer, you’ll help build and support the ServeManager mobile app for iOS and Android. You’ll work alongside our current mobile developers so the team has more coverage across feature work, bug fixes, releases, and day-to-day app support.

The app supports process servers and firms in the field, so much of the work is practical and workflow-driven: jobs, attempts, routing, uploads, notifications, documents, signatures, and account tools. You’ll work with product, design team (UI/UX), backend, stakeholders, and support to keep those workflows reliable, easy to use, and ready for release
This is a hybrid role, with in-office days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at our Denver office.

Compensation
This role offers a competitive compensation range of $96,480 to $135,000, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain features in the ServeManager iOS and Android app
  • Work with product, design team (UI/UX), backend, stakeholders, and support to improve mobile workflows and meet roadmap goals
  • Share ownership of the mobile app with the current mobile team so releases and support do not depend on one person
  • Build clear, practical screens for field users based on real user needs and workflows
  • Support core app areas such as jobs, attempts, routing, uploads, notifications, documents, signatures, and account tools
  • Connect the app to ServeManager APIs and third-party services as needed
  • Test changes on simulators, emulators, and real devices before release
  • Help prepare and validate TestFlight, Google Play internal testing, App Store, and Google Play releases
  • Troubleshoot production issues, crash reports, performance problems, and device-specific bugs
  • Maintain existing mobile code, including iOS and Android-specific behavior
  • Review mobile code from other developers and give practical feedback
  • Keep key mobile setup, release, and support steps documented for team coverage
  • Follow secure mobile development practices around user data, account access, API communication, and app permissions
  • Use approved AI tools to improve productivity with development, testing, debugging, and code review while maintaining quality and security

Requirements

    • 3+ years of experience building and maintaining production mobile apps released to the Apple App Store and Google Play
    • Strong React Native, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript experience
    • Comfortable debugging iOS and Android issues with real devices, simulators, emulators, Xcode, and Android Studio
    • Experience with REST APIs, authentication, file uploads, third-party integrations, and async app workflows
    • Familiarity with navigation, state management, forms, permissions, push notifications, deep links, camera, files, and location services
    • Experience with mobile testing tools such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, or similar
    • Understanding of mobile security, privacy, and safe handling of user data
    • Expo, EAS, OTA updates, maps/routing, background tasks, PDFs/documents, or field-service app experience is a plus
    • Experience using AI tools to improve development speed, testing, debugging, or code review is a plus
