To thrive as a Mobile RN at Anthem, you need an active RN license, strong clinical assessment skills, and experience in case management or home health settings. Familiarity with mobile health technology, electronic health records (EHRs), and telehealth systems is typically required. Excellent communication, self-motivation, and time management skills help you provide high-quality care independently while engaging with patients remotely. These abilities are vital for ensuring effective patient outcomes and efficient care coordination in a mobile, technology-driven healthcare environment.

What are some common challenges Mobile RNs at Anthem face while delivering care in diverse home environments?

Mobile RNs at Anthem often encounter the challenge of adapting to various home settings, which can differ significantly in terms of resources, cleanliness, and accessibility. They must quickly assess each environment to ensure safe and effective care, while also building rapport with patients and families who may have unique cultural or personal preferences. Additionally, Mobile RNs frequently navigate unpredictable schedules and must be comfortable working independently, while coordinating closely with physicians, social workers, and case managers to maintain high-quality patient outcomes.

What are Mobile RNs at Anthem?

Mobile RNs at Anthem are registered nurses who provide healthcare services to patients outside of traditional clinical settings, often traveling to patients' homes or other locations. Their responsibilities typically include conducting health assessments, managing chronic conditions, providing patient education, and coordinating care. Mobile RNs play a key role in improving access to care and supporting patients' health in their own environments. They often work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and may use technology to document and communicate patient information. Job description

Mobile RN – Join Our Mobile RN Team
Baseline Medical is a women-owned, nurse-led company redefining how care is delivered. We bring high-quality medical services and IV therapy directly to patients at home, in hotels, and wherever care is needed most across the DMV. We’re looking for exceptional Registered Nurses with strong clinical judgment, advanced IV skills, and a genuine passion for patient care to join our Mobile RN Team.
This is more than a job, it’s an opportunity to be part of a team setting a new standard for mobile medical care.
The Role
Our Mobile RN position is structured, supported, and built for success. This is a shift-based role, not on-call, designed to give you consistency while still offering flexibility. Each shift begins and ends at our Fairfax office, where all supplies are fully managed and stocked for you. You won’t be responsible for storing or transporting equipment at home. Everything is designed to allow you to focus on what matters most: delivering excellent patient care.
You’ll work alongside an experienced Clinical Team Leader, Nurse Practitioners, and our Medical Director, with a dedicated Logistics team coordinating your schedule and patient communication in real time. You are never operating alone, you are part of a system built to support you.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, high-quality mobile medical services, including IV therapy, in a variety of settings
  • Maintain clinical excellence by following established protocols and standards
  • Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners through real-time virtual support
  • Document patient care accurately and efficiently
  • Represent Baseline Medical with professionalism and pride in every patient interaction
Qualifications
  • Active RN license in Virginia, Maryland, and DC
  • At least 2 years of recent experience in acute care, infusion, or a high-IV-skill environment
  • Proven ability to perform IV insertions confidently and independently
  • Strong communication skills and a calm, professional presence in dynamic environments
Pay & Benefits
Our compensation model is designed to provide both stability and performance-based upside. Mobile RNs are paid an hourly base rate for all scheduled shifts, combined with additional service-based compensation tied to completed appointments. This structure ensures consistent earnings while rewarding efficiency, skill, and productivity.
Hourly base: $30–$35/hr + service-based compensation
On average, our nurses earn between $40–$70 per hour depending on shift volume, experience, and performance, with top performers consistently earning on the higher end of that range.
Schedule & Flexibility
Our part-time Mobile RNs enjoy a flexible, self-scheduling model designed to fit your lifestyle. Nurses commit to at least one shift per week of 8 or 10 hours, with the ability to work more based on their preferences.
