JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a results-driven Program Manager of Product Operations and Launch to drive our go-to-market execution and product release processes. This role drives cross-functional coordination, supports operational performance, and ensures timely, high-impact product releases across Vertafore.

You will serve as a partner to the Product leadership team and act as the central point of accountability for managing release readiness, progress tracking, and continuous process improvements that deliver measurable value to customers and the business.

Core Requirements and Responsibilities:

Essential job functions included but are not limited to the following:

· Drive cross-departmental planning and alignment on product releases and initiatives in partnership with Product leadership.

· Deliver robust go-to-market (GTM) strategies in collaboration with stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Sales, Support, and Operations.

· Lead end-to-end product release management, including kickoff meetings, stakeholder coordination, task tracking, risk mitigation, and communication.

· Execute a scalable release management process, incorporating stakeholder feedback and operational learnings.

· Monitor release performance against key milestones, KPIs, and gate points—ensuring accountability and providing data-driven insights to guide execution.

· Report on release progress, risks, and outcomes to Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

· Be the central hub for all release activities, reporting to the Senior Leadership Team on status, goals, and key metrics.

· Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying gaps, driving adoption of best practices, and removing blockers to success.

· Champion operational excellence by setting an example of raising bar on consistency, quality, and impact of product delivery.

· Ensure adherence to company policies and manage additional duties as needed by the VP of Product Management Operations.

Qualifications:

· 5+ years of experience in Product Operations, Program Management, or related operational leadership roles within SaaS or technology organizations.

· Experience implementing and scaling enterprise operating models.

· Experience influencing leadership stakeholders and leading cross-functional organizations.

· Strong experience in product lifecycle management and release governance.

· Strong communication, facilitation, and strategic thinking skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

· Experience in the insurance or insurtech industry.

· Familiarity with tools such as Rally, SharePoint, Miro, or equivalent

· Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum) or advanced degrees (MBA) a plus.

Additional Requirements and Details:

· Travel required up to 10% of the time.

· Located and working from an office location.

· Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.

· Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer.

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer, etc.).

· Frequent sitting and/or standing.
