Mobility Architect - Native iOS
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
We are seeking an experienced Native iOS Architect to lead the design, architecture, and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance iOS applications. The ideal candidate will define technical direction, establish best practices, mentor engineering teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade mobile solutions.
• 12+ years of software development experience with 8+ years in native iOS (Swift) development and architecture.
• Strong expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Xcode, and iOS SDKs.
• Extensive experience with architectural patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture, and Modular Architecture.
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, Web Services, and third-party integrations.
• Proficiency in unit testing, UI testing, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong understanding of mobile security, encryption and secure storage.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins etc.,
• Expertise performance optimization, memory management, and debugging.
• Experience with Git, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted engineering tools to drive developer efficiency, automation, and innovation across the software development lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Define and drive the overall architecture for native iOS applications.
• Lead the design and development of complex, scalable, and maintainable mobile solutions using Swift and UIKit/SwiftUI.
• Establish coding standards, design patterns, and mobile engineering best practices.
• Architect secure and high-performance mobile applications.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX designers, backend teams, and enterprise architects.
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments.
• Drive automation, testing strategies, and release management.
• Mentor and guide iOS developers and technical leads.
• Ensure compliance with security, accessibility, performance, and App Store guidelines.
• Extensive experience working with large-scale digital commerce and retail applications, ensuring scalability and performance.
Education
B.Tech or 4-year college / university degree with a relevant post-graduate qualification from premier institution
