Title: Senior Mobile DevOps Engineer 
Duration: 6 Months with possibility of extension and conversion to full-time
Location:  Sylmar, CA
 
Relocation: Candidates must be able to relocate at their own expense within two weeks if not local.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mobile DevOps Engineer with deep expertise across the entire mobile application lifecycle, including development support, CI/CD automation, release management, deployment, infrastructure automation, and production operations.  The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience supporting both Android and iOS platforms and managing enterprise-grade mobile applications from development through production release.
This role requires a strong technical leader with expertise in mobile DevOps practices, mobile release engineering, build automation, application deployment, and App Store management.
 
Required Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
Experience
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of dedicated Mobile DevOps or Mobile Release Engineering experience.
  • Extensive experience supporting Android and iOS application development and deployment pipelines.
  • Proven experience managing the complete mobile application lifecycle from development through production release.
  • Experience working within large enterprise environments supporting multiple mobile applications and development teams.
Technical Requirements

Mobile Platform Expertise
  • Expert knowledge of Android application ecosystem.
  • Expert knowledge of iOS application ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of mobile application architecture.
  • Experience with mobile application build, signing, packaging, and distribution processes.
  • Expertise managing mobile release processes and deployment best practices.
  • Hands-on experience managing Apple certificates, provisioning profiles, code signing, and release compliance requirements.
  • Experience working directly with Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
